We are looking for a Manager in our Microsoft Partnerships & Business Development Team.
You will lead a team, manage daily operations and projects, and oversee programme development. Additionally, you will support the leadership team our strategic partnership with Microsoft across EMEA to maximise revenue growth and increase market share according to Insight’s Global Strategy.

As a Manager Partnerships & Business Development your Responsibilities are:
• Manage the team to promote teammate satisfaction through mentoring, development, and career planning by creating a high performing team with a strong succession benchmark and enabling career progression.
• Create joint business plans with clear, measurable, financial objectives.
• Ensure optimal delivery against joint business plans, maximise revenues, and ensure joint growth metrics are achieved whilst supporting Insight’s strategy and core objectives.
• Nurture professional partner relationships to position Insight as the solutions and services ‘partner of choice.’
• Ensure that the role the partners technology plays within Insight’s solution areas, and the strategy is easily understood by key stakeholders within the strategic partner community.
• Broker and map effective relationships between key stakeholders across Insight and partner organisations.
• Support the Senior Management team by representing Insight at all nominated strategic partner events, and QBRs.
• Drive monthly and quarterly performance assessments by consulting with the partner to implement any necessary course corrections or get-well plans.
• Manage strategic vendor rebates in line with the weekly forecasting process.
• Ensure Insight complies with strategic partner programmes and their contractual requirements, and that the appropriate controls, policies, and procedures are in place and regularly monitored.
• Identify critical functions, tasks, and or accountabilities required from the key stakeholders internally.
• Facilitate the embedment of Insight’s solutions offerings with the partner and Insight’s solutions teammates.
• Work alongside the sales and solutions teams to ensure partner technologies are positioned with an Insight-led services first approach.
• Guide leaders at a local and EMEA level with emerging technologies, industry intelligence, partner strategies, programme changes by focusing on key areas to drive the most profitable outcomes.
• Ensure the appropriate skills, training, enablement, and certifications are embedded within the sales and solutions teams.
• Understand partner programmes and ensure there are sufficiently optimised across the business to increase profitability and deliver against set financial metrics for partner income.
• Engage with the Sales & Marketing organisation to secure readiness, go-to-market offerings, on time launch of campaigns, and sales execution.
• Manage resources and time with partners, suppliers, and vendors, to support tender submissions.
• Responsible for articulating and aligning the functional strategy in line with that of the business by providing enough tools and resources to teammates to ensure the optimum delivery of the strategy against Insight’s goals.
Experience and Skills:
• Previously worked in a similar strategic partner/vendor alliance and or partner/vendor development position.
• Fully conversant with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
• Significant experience of managing and developing an effective professional team within a fast-paced, target driven environment.
• Clear evidence of constant target over achievement in a profit and margin driven sales environment.
• Demonstrable ability to deal with ambiguity effectively, high level of resilience to deal with setbacks and challenges.
• The ability and willingness to develop and exploit a range of productive relationships both inside and outside of the team.
• A desire to learn more, develop professionally, and stay up to date with new technologies and advancements.
