The hours for this post are 7am - 9am Monday to Friday termtime .We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant to support our team in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for working with children and have experience in early childhood education or childcare settings. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage tasks effectively, and a drive to foster a nurturing atmosphere for children.
Duties
* Assist in breakfast club at our out of school care.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to build positive relationships.
* Manage activities, ensuring that all children are engaged and supervised at all times.
* Provide leadership support to senior staff by helping with administrative tasks as needed.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the space, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Take children to school
Experience
* Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
* A background in early childhood education or relevant qualifications will be an advantage.
* Strong communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with children and parents alike.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and supportive presence.
* Leadership qualities that inspire confidence and encourage teamwork among staff members.
