Job Title : Echocardiographer- Croydon Banding : Band 7 Location : Croydon Start: ASAP Duration : Ongoing Rate : £ 50- £ 60 Working hours: Monday – Friday, 37 hours per week We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 7 Echocardiographer to join our clients team in Croydon. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong background in echocardiography to contribute to the delivery of high-quality cardiac diagnostic services. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting patient care through accurate and detailed echocardiographic assessments. What will your responsibilities be : As a Band 7 Echocardiographer, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of echocardiographic procedures, including transthoracic, transoesophageal, and stress echocardiograms. Your duties will include preparing patients for procedures, operating ultrasound equipment, and analysing and interpreting echocardiographic data. You will also be expected to maintain accurate records, adhere to quality control protocols, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. You will collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive cardiac care, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the cardiology department. Qualifications and Experiences: HCPC registration as a Clinical Scientist or equivalent BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent Extensive experience in echocardiography, including advanced techniques Proficiency in using echocardiography equipment and software Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Effective communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to continuous professional development Why work with Pulse?
