Job summary The role of the Dementia Support Worker is to support people with dementia within Dougie Macs 1:1 Dementia Support Service. This service aims to engage people with dementia in 1:1 activities to facilitate wellbeing and enable carer respite. We also run a number of Activity Groups and Carer Support and Advice Sessions which you may be required to attend. The role will allow the post holder the opportunity to undertake any required training and development, with structured supervision and support. Continued professional development is supported and encouraged.
