Site Agent
As a Site Agent, you will be instrumental in ensuring that civil engineering projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget.
The role requires ensuring that resources and materials are in place to meet programme and contract requirements, effectively managing senior and site engineers, and having experience in cost control and forecasting. Additionally, candidates must prepare and comply with inspection and test plans and quality checklists.
Here’s a snapshot of some of the activities you will be involved in:
* Deliver outstanding customer service, safeguarding the company's interests, and fostering repeat business by building strong relationships and managing expectations on costs, variations, HSEQ, and programme.
* Forecasting and tracking costs together with the commercial team and ensuring targets are met and manage project costs within original budget allowances.
* Ensure effective performance management of all teams to deliver projects efficiently while upholding HSEQ standards in line with company procedures and legal requirements.
* Deliver to programme requirements and input in updating the project programme to meet contractual and tender requirements;
* Working with the site team to ensure the right resource are in place.
* Deliver the contractual programme and produce lookahead programmes for the site teams.
* Work closely with the commercial team with costs, variations and any change management.
* Prepare and ensure compliance with inspection and test plans and quality checklists.
Excellent HSEQ standards and have experience in preparing RAMS and WPPs. It is essential to hold a SMSTS certification and possess a Civil Engineering qualification, along with over five years of civil engineering experience.
Experience in both short and long-term planning and programming and have expertise in change management. A proven track record of delivering projects according to the specifications and drawings provided under contract, with a solid understanding of programme contract administration. Additionally, a full UK driving licence is required
