Job Title: Structures Manager

Salary: £60,000-£70,000
Are you an experienced Structures Manager within the highways sector and looking for a new challenge? This role offers the opportunity to lead and oversee structural inspections, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and manage Planned & General Inspection programmes.
2. Lead the tendering process, working closely with the Commercial Team.
3. Obtain necessary permits and permissions for inspections and repairs.
4. Oversee contractor work, ensuring compliance with required standards.
5. Manage contract administration, defect repairs, and tendering procedures.
6. Coordinate with Operations for minor structural repairs.
7. Assist with budgeting, reporting, and stakeholder liaison for handback processes.
Requirements:
1. Degree in Civil Engineering (essential).
2. 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
3. Experience working with rail or transport authorities (desirable).
4. Strong project management and technical skills.
5. Confident communicator with internal teams and external stakeholders.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD, and contract documentation.
