I have recently partnered exclusively with a leading manufacturing business who are seeking an experienced Technology leader to spearhead a business-wide digital transformation.
This pivotal role will include designing and implementing next-generation IT architecture and delivering successful technology strategies to ensure this business remains at the forefront of innovation while maintaining operational efficiency. You will inherit a small Technology team, but will also have the freedom to expand the team as you see fit.
Key responsibilities:
1. Design strategic roadmaps to deliver the best technical solutions for the business, including ERP, digital, and business intelligence solutions.
2. Integrate third-party and in-house development systems.
3. Advise on and implement data and cyber security measures across hardware, software, and other services, ensuring the business is risk-averse.
4. Manage the deployment, development, monitoring, and upgrading of existing systems.
5. Have oversight of day-to-day IT operations across Manchester and Northern Ireland.
6. Budget planning and control, reporting to the Board.
7. Obtain the best commercial terms with suppliers of hardware and software and manage supplier relationships with key technology partners.
8. Develop, inspire, and lead the IT team.
Requirements:
1. 5+ years of Technology leadership experience (ideally in a distribution/manufacturing environment).
2. Hands-on experience with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems.
3. Experience with cloud services (and ideally cloud migration projects).
4. A proven track record of designing and implementing successful technology strategies.
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
