The Role The firm currently has 4 partners and 2 experienced managers, and this role is intended to bolster the managerial capacity within the practice, as well as to assist a growing accounts department. As an Accounts Assistant Manager a typical day could include: Dealing with year-end accounts work for a range of business entities. Managing a small portfolio of clients and their ad hoc queries. Assisting with the delegation of work to members of staff. Taking an active managerial role within the firm, assisting the two managers where appropriate. Managing and training of trainee accountants. Contributing to the longer term strategy of the firm. The Requirements and Process To qualify for this role as an Accounts Assistant Manager, you should: Be fully qualified ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience. Have a strong background in accountancy practice. Be confident working with technology. Be able to show leadership qualities and the ability to supervise junior members of the team. Have a strong attention to detail. Be a confident and professional communicator.
