A market leading property services organisation is looking to recruit their new Health and Safety Manager to work across a large 20m contract with one of their largest clients. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to advance their career with a well-established business boasting a turnover of over 200 million.
You will have the chance to work on a range of projects whilst managing one SHE Advisor. Based in Catterick, with sites between Newcastle and Essex, this role offers flexible working and a diverse, stimulating work environment. Responsibilities for the Health and Safety Manager will include:
* Implementing health and safety policies and procedures on site, ensuring compliance and keeping updated with key changes to legislation.
* Visiting site and engaging with key stakeholders, ensuring responsibilities are clear and answering technical Health and Safety related enquiries.
* Conducting audits, inspections, and accident investigations. Constantly seeking areas for improvement and development in health and safety performance, whilst managing one SHE Advisor on the contract.
* Engaging with the client and other external stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact.
The successful Health and Safety Manager will have:
* Experience in a similar role ideally within construction, property services or building maintenance.
* Hold a NEBOSH General and preferably working towards NEBOSH Diploma.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Good communication skills with the ability to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders.
* UK Driver's license is essential.
