Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading supplier of commercial interior design solutions looking to recruit a new Interior Designer to get involved with space planning and produce construction drawings for clients. With a good package, this is a great opportunity for an individual with experience of using CAD software looking for a new opportunity.
Responsibilities
* Using AutoCAD and other similar design software to create designs of commercial interiors supplied by clients and the sales team.
* Liaising with the sales team to understand their initial designs.
* Editing designs at various stages of the process as the customer requires.
* Providing accurate and detailed drawings which are to scale.
* Checking the feasibility of the manufacture and construction of the product.
Requirements
It is essential that you have experience of creating designs using CAD software such as AutoCAD or similar, coupled with some experience of working face-to-face with customers in a similar role. It is essential that you either hold a qualification in Architecture or are able to show significant experience. Due to the requirements of the role, you will need to live within commuting distance of the company’s office in Lincolnshire.
