Learning Support Assistant with Midday Assistant duties

Deneholm Primary School is an extremely happy and positive school looking to appoint a highly effective, caring, enthusiastic and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team.
This role will also include additional Midday Assistant duties.
You will:
* be experienced in working with primary aged pupils.
* be confident to deliver small group interventions.
* have the ability to create positive learning environments.
* have high expectations of pupil attainment and behaviour.
* have evidence of ability to enthuse and motivate pupils.
* have a strong and caring personality and be calm, patient and firm.
* have good organisation and communication skills.
* be committed to providing a 'child-centred nurturing' ethos, collaborative team-work and flexible working.
We are an Ofsted Good school with pupils' behaviour noted as a positive: "Pupils behave in an exemplary manner in classrooms and around school. They are polite, courteous and well-mannered." Ofsted 2018.
The working pattern for this role will be 15 hours and 15 minutes per week Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 08:45 to 12:05, and Wednesdays 08:45 to 11:55 plus 4 hours 20 minutes per week midday role, term time only.
