We are currently seeking a Facilities Assistant, to be based at Belford Hospital & available to be mobile to work at local NHS sites in Lochaber. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness are maintained in line with local infection control policies, Covid 19 guidance and maintaining compliance with the NHS Scotland National Cleaning Services Specification, Food, Fluid and Nutritional Care Standards and Waste Regulations. Catering, domestic and laundry service duties are included within this role to help and support service demand. Meeting specified cleaning schedules, and promoting and maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the environment. The successful applicant will be required to cover, when required, all NHS Sites in the local geographical area, a fleet vehicle is available for travelling to sites, and access to economical public transport is also acceptable. This post can be worked on a 2 week roster, working one weekend in two and the working hours can be flexible working hours to cover the needs of the service within our sites.
