Our client is a 26yr old man with cerebral palsy. He is positive and resilient despite his complex physical and health needs. He has a great sense of humour and loves meeting up with friends and has a love of art. We are looking for a number of support workers for both days and waking nights on a 2-week rota. You will be joining a small team of carers who offer 24-hour care. You will provide support in our clients home with personal care, moving and handling, supporting and administering his therapy and treatment, medication administration, admin/record keeping and meeting his day-to-day care and social needs. Requirements Applications are open to both male and females candidates and a full, clean, UK driving licence is required for this role. You should have at least 6 months recent experience of supporting in a care setting and be fully committed to being a valued member of the care team, providing exceptional dedication, flexibility and care to our client. You must be willing to accompany our client on social trips and holidays if needed. You should be a good communicator and have good writing skills. The family have a cat which you must be comfortable with and have no allergies and it is our clients preference that candidates are non-smokers.
