The Opportunity We are pleased to announce the opening of Sales Representative in the Energy and Transportation (E&T) Central Sales Team. This position works with our dealers to support the aftermarket business for industrial / rail, electric power, and marine in the EAME region. What You Will Do - Partner with dealers' Parts & Service Sales Managers and their PSSR/ISR/Parts Counter organization to influence sales force effectiveness - Drive regular sales execution meetings with dealers and ensure implementation of business growth actions - Responsible for driving key growth metrics with dealers - including STU, CVA $'s, PSE $'s and Connectivity - Develop local action plans, leveraging data analytics, to attack lost sales - Collaborate & influence other internal parties to ensure general customer needs are met for an effective commercial relationship - Track opportunity, participation and close rates and report VOC/VOD - Keep up to date with industry trends, changing technology and market regulations in territories covered What You Will Have Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions. Level Basic Understanding: - Presents product, technology or service costs and benefits in reaction to prospect or customer requests. - Describes general concepts, practices and benefits of value-based versus product selling. - Documents proposed product/service solutions to be presented to potential customers. - Pursues additional 'value selling' education or training to enhance traditional sales practices. - High level of interpersonal and communication skills - Strong negotiation skills Top Candidates may have - Possess valuable aftermarket and parts experience, along with preferred knowledge of (Caterpillar) dealer operations. - Demonstrate the ability to leverage data effectively, crafting clear and compelling messages about performance and opportunities for decision makers. - An enterprise point of view will enable to approach challenges and solutions with a broader perspective. Additional Information: - Position may require up to 25% travel - The role is office based in Peterborough, unless you are travelling.
