THE ROLE: The Customer Services Administrator role is telephone and email based and is responsible for providing quick and efficient handling of any service matters raised by customer accounts or partners within strict timeframes. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, booking in the following days deliveries with all delivery points and managing key accounts assigned to you, creating a strong relationship with your key customer and their team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Booking in all deliveries for the following day, working closely with the transport planners and delivery points to try and achieve a balance between customer satisfaction and a streamlined and profitable route.
* Key account management – answering all queries via phone and email from key customer accounts assigned to you in a timely manner regarding ETAs, POD requests etc.
* Tracking and ensuring all PODs have been retrieved from drivers and sub-contractors, scanning them into the system and assigning them to the correlating orders.
* Order entry – ensuring all orders received from customers are entered onto the system accurately.
* Other general administrative duties.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
* Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
* Ability to assess urgency of tasks and queries to prioritise workload.
* Organised with the capacity to multi-task and easily switch between tasks.
* Strong and clear communication skills.
* Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
* High attention to detail.
