Our story
Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust was established on 1 February 2011 when Monitor, the independent regulator of health services in England, authorised Derbyshire Mental Health Services NHS Trust to become a Foundation Trust.
In April 2011 we became the provider of children’s universal and specialist services for Derby city following a successful tender process.
As part of the Transforming Community Services (TCS) programme, community paediatric services and substance misuse services were also transferred into the organisation from NHS Derby City.

Job overview
The post-holder will:
* Provide, maintain and develop a high quality, administrative/secretarial support reflecting the professionalism of the Memory Assessment Service.
* Provide a comprehensive secretarial service to the team including typing/word processing of letters, memos, minutes, reports and other routine correspondence.
* Work on their own initiative, as well as part of the wider Administrative Team and demonstrate a willingness to help others and be a key member of the team with responsibility for allocated tasks.
Advert
* The post holder will ensure the delivery of a comprehensive high quality secretarial and administrative service to the Psychiatrists, Clinical Nurse Specialist, and the Memory Assessment Service (MAS) Team.
* To coordinate appointments, booking rooms in a variety of settings across the county of Derbyshire, in both NHS Trust premises and external venues (to include DCHS premises, Derbyshire County Council premises, GP premises and other private settings).
* Register new referrals on SystmOne (EPR) for referrals received.
* To provide a comprehensive, high quality secretarial and administrative service to the Psychiatrists, Clinical Nurse Specialist, and the Memory Assessment Service Clinical Team. Tasks will include medical and general audio typing, preparing correspondence, word processing of letters, checking the accuracy of information prior to this being submitted to the relevant clinician for e-signing.
* To manage and prioritise own workload to meet strict deadlines. Required to work flexibly within the remit of the post.
