Purpose of the job
As a Product Manager, you will be empowered to make the best decisions for CTO. Alongside the product team, you will be accountable for prioritisation, assessing risks, managing product costs/benefits, and helping drive the necessary business outcomes. The successful candidate will own the product in its entirety, implementing Product Management practices across its lifecycle—from idea, delivery, growth, demise, and all operational aspects. The role will report to the head of Real Time Communications Technology.
Responsibilities
* Delve deep into user research, market trends, and competitor analysis to understand the landscape and customer challenges.
* Empathise with customers by actively listening to feedback, analysing usage data, and identifying unmet needs and opportunities for improvement.
* Promote the product by finding new customers, educating them on how the product can meet their needs.
* Establish a clear product vision that reflects customer needs and drives business value.
* Communicate the vision to stakeholders and develop a compelling product strategy aligned with overall technology goals.
* Translate the vision into a product backlog, including feature and story writing, backlog slicing.
* Identify MVPs, plan releases, and develop delivery roadmaps.
* Support teams in understanding backlog priorities and their importance to customer success.
* Work closely with developers, designers, and stakeholders, fostering open communication and trust for smooth execution.
Skill Requirements
* Analyze user data, track success metrics (OKRs, KPIs, SLs), and leverage insights to optimise product performance and commercial goals.
* Strong experience in a product role (product owner or product manager).
* Experience supporting or delivering technology in a Tradefloor environment.
* Experience with Tradefloor Voice platforms and Media Recording services.
* Strong Business Analysis, process design, and requirements skills.
* Experience across product lifecycle stages, with knowledge of Project Management, Business Analysis, and SDLC—preferably in Agile/Scrum.
* Ability to influence, engage, and collaborate with senior stakeholders.
* Comfortable with experimentation, testing ideas, and sharing insights.
