The Role - Team Teach Teaching Assistant
This Team Teach Teaching Assistant role requires proactivity, empathy, and resilience. You will be responsible for supporting young people who have social and emotional mental health challenges across Secondary year groups.
The successful Team Teach Teaching Assistant will support on a 1:1 or group basis across core subjects and vocational lessons (e.g., mechanics, construction), as well as managing challenging behaviour. You will need to have patience, be proactive, and create safe learning environments for students with EHCPs.
This role is classroom-based, supporting the class teacher and other support staff, setting up and assisting with lessons and activities, supervision, and adapting lessons to cater to a variety of abilities.

This SEMH school is recruiting Team Teach Teaching Assistants to work across their secondary year groups. The SEMH school is an all-boys school providing education for primary, secondary, and sixth form students.
The school is located in Wandsworth, near overground and underground stations, as well as great bus routes. They also offer free on-site parking. The school has a therapy farm that both staff and students access daily. The SEN setting provides CPD and training throughout the academic year, including positive handling, safeguarding, and SEN support.
