A little about myself:
I am a happy young girl with ASD and GDD. I don’t speak yet and use a device, gestures and expressions to communicate. I love the outdoors and like trampolining, going to the park, gymnastics, swimming. You will need to keep an eye on me because I don’t have any awareness of danger and will not know about road safety or holding on to things such as safety bars. I love food, like McDonald’s and pizza.
I will need a PA who drives to take me to outside safe spaces and fun places for me to develop my social independence. I am shy with new people and so you will need to get to know me at home before we go out into the community to have fun. I am happy to travel in the car with you but I will need a booster seat.
