The Role:
The Transport and Environmental Design Team in
Engineering Services is looking for a skilled, enthusiastic and self:motivated Senior Engineer to join the team. You'll be customer focused with knowledge of highway design and construction management tools.
Engineering Services sits within our Universal Services department. We are a forward:thinking in:house consultancy providing a range of services to the County Council and other public authorities. This includes design, laboratory testing, site supervision and project/contract management from early stages of a project through to supervision of construction.
As a Senior Engineer, you will actively manage several minor to major highway schemes, typically up to GBP 10m in value. You will provide highway and development infrastructure civil engineering expertise comprising the design, management and implementation of projects from inception through to completion, to achieve cost, time and quality objectives and set up effective reporting, governance and stakeholder engagement, work and resource planning, change control and risk management protocols.
