Quantity Surveyor - Social Housing - DecarbonisationKentFull-Time, Permanent positionSalary: £50-70K+ packageWe are working with a leading Social Housing contractor to recruit an experienced and successful Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Kent to deliver a decarbonisation contract.We are looking for a proven commercial professional ideally with experience in social housing refurbishment programmes, ideally with knowledge of internal and external planned maintenance programmes with a comprehensive commercial understanding of subcontractor procurement and cost management, the CVR process as well as excellent client relationship skills.As the Quantity Surveyor for our client, some of your responsibilities will include:Control all expenditureReconcile cost/value reports & profit forecastsOn-boarding of Sub contractors/suppliersEnsuring value for money & financial assessmentsManage day to day cost control & monitoring & reportingProcess Sub contractor requests for payment via application & invoiceAttend project & company related meetingsEnsure timely cash flow managementMaintain & develop professional relationships with clients & customersEssential Quantity Surveyor Experience:Ideally decarbonisation experienceDegree or other technical qualificationQuantity Surveying experience with a main contractorStrong commercial awarenessProven track record delivering contracts on time and within budgetContractual awarenessNegotiating, communication & presentation skillsKnowledge of Supply Chain managementRICS / CIOB qualification - PreferredQuantity Surveyor Salary and Benefits:You will be working for a modern, forward-thinking business; that believes the strengths, skills, and personalities of its people are the key to the group's success.
