The Maintenance Operative Or Lance Operator Specialist Maintenance Services Job Itself Where Working As Part Of a Small Team Lead By The Team Leader To Ensure Allocated Tasks Are Achieved On Time And According To Specification. More Specifically:
1. Delivering essential plant/machinery maintenance and cleaning services
2. Manual role, working with specialist equipment, occasionally in confined space and at times challenging conditions (full training and PPE supplied)
3. Complying with instructions to ensure client requirements are carried out efficiently, in line with risk assessments, method statements, and operational procedures whilst following specified work instructions
4. Receipt, storage, transportation and use of tools and other equipment to ensure reliable stock control and accurate equipment inventory records
5. Adhering to Health & Safety standards at all times both on and off site; keeping work areas clean and tidy, identifying and reporting any potential hazards
6. Carrying out equipment maintenance tasks and general yard duties as directed
7. Working on client sites, requiring a professional demeanor at all times
You will have
To be successful as a Maintenance Operative or Lance Operator Specialist Maintenance Services, you will have a healthy mix of the following:
1. Hands-on engineering, maintenance or similar/associated background; we will be flexible provided you can show you are willing to learn and are suited to the tasks.
2. Previous experience of strict health + safety rules and regulations
3. Driving licence (able to drive company vehicles)
4. Ability to travel from our Middlesbrough site, and stay overnight in hotels as required
5. Indefinite right to remain in the UK (we are unable to offer visa sponsorship)
You will get
As a Maintenance Operative/Lance Operator you will get an annual take-home of £33K+ + OT. Basic starting salary of £25,000 increasing to £27,000 on completion of training; plus £500 per month paid allowances (£6,000 per annum); discretionary bonus 10% per annum; pension; Annual leave 30 days including bank holidays - increasing with each year's completed service; working hours Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
NB: Requiring travel (and overnight stays, all fully expensed) from base in Middlesbrough.
