Job Role
1. Manage a cohort of apprenticeship learners.
2. Classroom delivery approximately 2 to 3 times per week in the centre in Durham or at client's premises in the North East.
3. Complete paperwork at home or office as per your choice.
4. Conduct online sessions with some learners.
5. Classroom sizes range from 2 to 10.
6. Training in business admin, team leading, and management to level 3.
7. Functional skills to level 2 in English and Mathematics, ideally with experience in delivering or embedding.
8. Occasionally assist in commercial client workshops in your area of expertise.
9. Assess apprentices' work by observing and marking.
10. Manage your own diary and maintain flexibility with start and finish times (e.g., 8am to 4pm, 8:30am to 4:30pm, or 9am to 5pm).
11. Very occasionally visit other locations with an overnight stay.
Key Skills Required
1. Assessor qualified (TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/D33) or teacher qualified at level 3 - must have one or the other.
2. The company will support you in obtaining the missing assessor or teaching award.
3. Experience in teaching or assessing in management, business admin, and team leading - at least 2 of these subjects.
4. Ideally, experience in functional skills embedment or delivery.
Salary and Benefits
1. £28K to £30K per annum.
2. Free parking when at the centre.
3. Mileage paid for visits.
4. 28 days holiday plus additional days at Christmas and statutory holidays.
