The UK Trading team fuels UK growth by optimising online product sales on Next.co.uk across Womenswear, Menswear, Childrenswear and Home. They drive exciting product launches and strategic promotions to maximise sales and brand visibility. The role As the eCommerce Trading Lead, you will lead the search and navigation part of the funnel for Childrenswear Trading and will work to maximise the performance of search and navigation for this area. You will review the metrics, make suggestions to optimise net sales and conversion and you’ll own ways to improve the search results, sort order, search imagery, filters, item titles, navigational links and navigational order. What else is involved? • Continually review information on sales, bestsellers & key online metrics to summarise performance trends and pinpoint opportunities for further improvement. • Support the business owners to maximise the performance of all funnel metrics for search & navigation (e.g. search conversion rate). • Top free type searches for Childrenswear reviewed and optimised. • Make changes based on data (redirects, search pills, filters, synonyms. attribution/item titles). • Reviews sort order and suggests opportunities to improve as well as flagging and fixing issues. • Manage the onsite navigation and menu for all Childrenswear. • Work closely with the SEO team to strengthen our position as number 1 on Childrenswear. • Build a strong working relationship with the Product Team. • Deputising for the Business Owner of Childrenswear Ecommerce.
