FINANCE TECHNICIAN The Independent Pilots Association (IPA) is a membership subscription organisation. We are looking to recruit a Finance Technician to - · Maintain the accounts for the IPA. · Pay all bills and invoices. · Manage the collection of monthly direct debits and all other payments relating to membership subscriptions. · Deal with cancelled/unpaid Direct Debits. · Be point of contact for membership enquiries. · Prepare and send membership packs. · Calculate subscriptions due to the union and transferring of funds. · Administer staff payroll. · Administer staff pension arrangements. · Prepare monthly management accounts. · Produce year end accounts with balance sheet. · Produce the annual financial statement for union members. · Liaise with IPA accountant for end of year accounts/audit. · Complete Certification Officer Annual Returns (AR21 and AR(NI)21) for the union. · Complete any requirements for Companies House. · Monitor renewal dates and implement renewals of insurance policies. · Maintain staff holiday and sickness records. · Answer and direct telephone calls. · Provide admin cover for colleagues on annual leave/sickness/days off.
