Job Description: The Accounts Assistant is responsible for assisting the Accounts Receivable team to deliver a variety of functions including banking of cheques; allocating receipts; setting up Direct Debits; performing bank reconciliations and other ad hoc transactions as carried out within the team. Key responsibilities and tasks include: Processing receipts from the daily bank statement and via other payment platforms Processing cheques received and other receipts Completing daily bank reconciliations Processing Direct Debit mandates Actioning tenant / client payments and refunds Answering written queries via all mailboxes Prioritising and organising workloads to meet deadlines with complete accuracy Building effective working relationships with other departments Processing reallocations Issuing service charge, ground rent and supplementary levy payment requests Completing lost site & Suspense account queriesQualifications and Skills: Candidates for this position should have the following skills and qualifications: Accounts receivable / Customer Advisor experience is desirable Knowledge/experience of property management industry (Service Charge/Rent) is desirable Resilient, tenacious & target driven, with excellent organisational skills Team player with good work ethics and the ability to remain calm under pressure An excellent communicator (oral and written) Computer literate, including ability to use MS Office, Teams and working knowledge of Excel Organised, self-motivated, with ability to use own initiative and work to tight deadlines Application Process: All applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK without restrictions, and documented evidence of eligibility will be required.
