Management Accountant – Penzance - £35 - £40,000
Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to have been re-engaged by one of our longstanding clients, a highly successful and rapidly expanding services business consisting of several group entities and operating across a broad range of sectors. They currently seek to recruit an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team, a permanent, full-time position to be based at the company’s headquarters close to Penzance.
This is a broad role which will play a key part in supporting the finance function, reporting into an experienced and friendly Finance Manager. Main duties of the role to include:
- Responsibility for the preparation of the monthly management accounts
- Assisting with all month end procedures to tight deadlines
- Monitoring the aged debtor
- Ensure efficient accounts payable and receivable controls
- Bank/balance sheet reconciliations
- Overall responsibility for monthly payroll
- Supporting the Finance Manager with various ad-hoc duties and tasks

Good IT skills including an aptitude for picking up digital accounting platforms (Sage/Xero) is essential as will be the ability to work as part of a close-knit team. The role works within a busy function and the successful candidate will liaise with many internal and external stakeholders so good communication and team working skills are a prerequisite!
