If so, we want you to be part of a dedicated team working with a local government authority in Nottingham Becky at JT Recruit is working with a local government authority to find a dynamic and motivated Rent Operations Manager to lead their rents team in delivering top-tier services to Nottingham’s residents. As part of the mission to support local communities, you’ll play a pivotal role in rent collection, debt recovery, and providing the support tenants need. This temporary role will effectively manage the recovery of unpaid rents, working closely with the Head of Rents to support the coordination of service delivery across the Income Team. What You’ll Do: Lead a team of Rent Account Managers, driving performance and delivering exceptional customer outcomes. Maximise rent arrears recovery and support tenants through benefit and debt advice. Develop and implement effective systems for rent recovery, ensuring best practice and innovation. Foster a strong “rent first” culture, helping the organisation achieve its income goals. Monitor service delivery, ensuring high standards and excellent customer satisfaction. Who We’re Looking For: The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience in rent management and social housing regulations. Strong leadership skills and a track record of team development and performance management. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong IT skills, particularly in Excel. A forward-thinking attitude to continuous service improvement. Desirable: NVQ Level 4/5 or a Chartered Institute of Housing qualification
