We are working with an existing client who is looking for a graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their team. You will be site based and cover the Surrey projects, so you MUST be able to drive.
Graduate Quantity Surveyor Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of cost estimates, cost plans, tender documents, interim valuations of the construction
2. Variations and Measurements
3. Cost Control
4. Cost reporting
5. Liaise with all Internal teams
6. Attend project meetings
7. Assist with procurement
8. Final Accounts
9. Provide support in the cost management and financial reporting
10. Attend meetings to provide QS input
11. Review project progress and present project data as appropriate
Minimum Requirements:
1. Degree in Quantity Surveying
2. Excellent oral communication and written skills
3. A good knowledge of Maths
4. Strong attention to detail
5. Confident, articulate, and a critical thinker
6. Ability to work to deadlines
7. Willing to undertake training and development when needed.
