Your Role
We are looking for a Senior Practitioner to join our Adult Social Care team.
This role will involve supporting ongoing learning and supporting the learning needs of others within the Adult Safeguarding Service and Across Adult Social Care.
You will use your extensive experience in statutory social work, the Care Act in particular section 42, Safeguarding enquiries to provide leadership and demonstrate professional knowledge and good practice in situations of high complexity, especially where an adult has been identified as being harmed due to abuse or neglect.
You will work to shape and develop the service and deputise for the manager when this is required.
About You
* Are you an experienced Social Worker, passionate about safeguarding adults at risk?
* Are you interested in working in partnership with adults to manage risk and develop protection plans to prevent harm occurring as a result of abuse or neglect, keeping the person at the centre of all decisions?
* Do you have an enquiring mind and an ability to link information and understand patterns of behaviour to inform your practice and understanding of abuse in all its forms?
