Join us as a Third Party Risk Manager If you’re looking for a new challenge, where you can play a key role in managing third party risk, this could be the ideal role for you You’ll work in partnership with colleagues across the organisation in applying a third party risk management (TPRM) framework, and anticipating and assessing the potential impacts of third party risk across the bank By liaising closely with a range of stakeholders, you’ll have an opportunity to raise your profile across the bank and you’ll benefit from a strong focus on your personal development What you'll do You’ll play a key role in delivering initiatives that support the effective application of the TPRM framework, with an opportunity to improve the understanding and effective management of third party risk across the bank. We’ll look to you to support the business in managing third party risk, making sure mechanisms are in place to identify, report, manage, and mitigate risk within a defined risk appetite, working in conjunction with the second line of defence. Day-to-day, you’ll be: Undertaking quality assurance testing on key TPRM and governance processes, identifying weaknesses and trends and driving activity to improve process design and capability Developing processes and procedures to support users in complying with the EO standard Building and maintaining trusted working partnerships with key stakeholders across the bank to align and create synergies between inter-related frameworks and non-financial risks Supporting the interpretation of the latest regulatory requirements and changes, managing updates to the TPRM framework to ensure our ongoing compliance to the outsourcing regulatory requirements Reviewing and maintaining of the EO risk standard and supporting guidance Providing oversight of the development and testing of robust third party exit and contingency plans for our most critical suppliers The skills you'll need To be successful in this role, you’ll demonstrate knowledge of third party risk and bring experience of working in a first or second line of defence risk role. You’ll also bring: A clear track record of achievement and delivery Experience of working in a in financial services or supply chain environment Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with good attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to influence at all levels
