We are looking for a pro from a high hazard environment, with excellent Managerial and Leadership skills, to take charge of the Process Management arm of the wider safety team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead on the development and implementation of the Business process safety strategy assigning accountability and responsibility to appropriate stakeholders for overall successful delivery.
2. Lead on the development, implementation and maintenance of the Business process safety management system so that it remains effective and delivers overall compliance.
3. Provide guidance and support in relation to process safety requests for information (incidents / data / process) both internally and externally.
4. Where there is ownership of Business process safety policy / procedures maintain them in accordance with published document management / control process.
5. Where appointed either operate as lead investigator and / or support process safety accident / incident investigations (as required) to establish root causes, providing expert advice, support and guidance on legal framework including the development and management through to closure of identified interventions.
Essential Skills/Qualifications:
1. Educated to degree level or post-graduate in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience in a related field; such as asset management or operations.

4. Risk management
5. Process safety management systems
6. Operational incident management
7. Asset management
8. Team motivation and inspiration
9. Effective communication and negotiation skills

12. Accuracy in relation to the analysis and management of process safety data
13. Effective report writing
