Registered Manager - Learning Disabilities and Challenging Behaviour
Dewsbury, Kirklees, West Yorkshire
We are looking for an experienced manager to oversee both the operational management and nursing governance of a small service in Dewsbury that supports adults with learning disabilities in a respite setting, along with an additional crisis support service on site.
This small respite service, which is open 24 hours per day, supports adults with a learning disability who also require additional nursing support. You will be registered with CQC as the Registered Manager for this service and will also be responsible for a new developing service, which is a 2-bed crisis unit for adults who may live in the community but need a space to stay and be supported through a challenging personal situation.
Therefore, you must have experience of supporting people with challenging behaviours and be confident supporting your team, which includes a clinical lead, a team of nurses, and support workers.
This is very much a management role where you will provide clinical governance and strategic oversight coupled with operational responsibility for budgets, staffing, recruitment, compliance, etc.
Essential Criteria:
1. Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management
2. CQC Registered Manager
3. Clear understanding of supporting adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours
4. Full UK Driving Licence
