Regulatory Transaction Reporting Officer – Asset Management (BBBH156159) City of London, England
We’re working with a leading global asset manager to hire a Regulatory Transaction Reporting Officer into their London-based operations team. This is a permanent position within a well-established and collaborative Transaction Management function. You’ll join a specialist reporting team responsible for ensuring timely, accurate trade and transaction reporting across a broad regulatory landscape including EMIR, MiFID II, SFTR, MAS, and FINFRAG. The role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of reporting frameworks and a passion for precision, controls, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Own end-to-end transaction reporting processes across EMIR, MiFID II, and other global regimes.
2. Ensure accurate reporting via ARMs, TRs, and APAs using a mix of STP and exception management.
3. Oversee reconciliations including EMIR TR and FCA.
4. Leverage tools like Kaizen, Novatus, and internal KPIs to monitor and enhance reporting quality.
5. Act as a central point of contact for reporting queries from both internal and external stakeholders.
6. Collaborate with delegated counterparties and vendors to resolve exceptions and maintain oversight.
7. Support onboarding of new funds and instruments; contribute to building a robust control framework.
Your Background
1. 5+ years of hands-on experience in regulatory transaction reporting within asset management or financial services.
2. Expert knowledge of EMIR and/or MiFID II reporting requirements.
3. Experience working with delegated reporting frameworks and external trade repositories.
4. Familiarity with systems such as Unavista, DTCC GTR, Trade Echo, SimCorp, or Charles River is advantageous.
5. Analytical, detail-focused, and solutions-oriented — with excellent communication and time management skills.
