Compensation: £39,520 - £60,008 / year

What it means to be a Nursery Manager at N Family Club…
As a Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of nursery operations, ensuring compliance with regulations while maintaining exceptional standards in people management, commercial strategy, and educational excellence. Your role will blend expertise in children's education, business acumen, customer service, and people development to create an environment where children thrive in safety, learning, and fun.
Key Responsibilities
* Create, and ensure there is, a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone plays as a team and can achieve their full potential, promoting the N Family Club culture and values.
* To be the Designated Safeguarding Lead at the nursery and hold overall responsibility for the day to day management of safeguarding and child protection policies.
* Own the operational management of your nursery ensuring all N policies and procedures are followed, alongside compliance with EYFS statutory requirements, H&S legislation and Ofsted requirements.
* Be responsible for leading the team to deliver the highest quality education in line with the N Pedagogy and Curriculum, driving improvement through the nursery self-evaluation plan.
* Take full accountability for recruitment, retention, staffing, succession planning and be a champion for N Academy signing posting teams to relevant learning.
* Be a role model for exceptionally high standards, thriving on feedback and leading on improvement plans.
* Build and maintain brilliant relationships with parents, taking the time to learn customers names and build genuine relationships with them.
* Work with sales and marketing to drive occupancy levels, managing capacity to offer education to as many families that require this in the local area.
* Risk assess the nursery through the day, every day, and take appropriate action; maintaining and critically assessing all policies, procedures and practice to continuously drive improvements.
* Commercial delivery of nursery performance, optimising revenue generation and cost efficiency in line with N Family targets.
* Engage in the local community to build and establish local partnerships.
* Respect and value all team members, children and parents, encouraging a positive and diverse working environment.
* Responsible for always adhering to the company's H&S policy: "Statement of Intent".
* Work a flexible work pattern within the nursery opening hours (7am-7pm).
