This leading international and multi- channel retailer is going through a period of sustained growth and is now set to appoint a Senior International Merchandiser to support the ongoing expansion of international, franchise and partnership channels.
Reporting to the Head of Partnership Trading you remit will be leading the Merchandising Planning function and build a new commercial planning function. Based in its Amersham head office 4/5 days.
Your key strength will be core merchandising experience, encompassing both planning and trading including WSSI's in a multichannel environment. Your focus will be to ensure that you deliver a profitable commercial product range that's in budget and delivers key business KPIs including fulfilling order book targets across all our international markets and store portfolio. You will be working with a variety of stakeholders across the wider organisation and external partners and will need to build strong working relationships especially with the commercial team and our international partners to ensure a seamless delivery of a range into all markets.
You will be a highly experienced and driven multichannel core Merchandiser capable of managing multiple categories, business models and markets. A great team player, able to work at pace, you will also lead from the front, add gravitas, have innovative ideas and bring experience, energy and enthusiasm into the mix. You will provide strategic vision and focus, backed up by data and analysis, with an eye on the detail. You will be an ambassador and role model for the brand and the international function.
Responsibilities
Work with Head of Partnership Trading, International Partners and Market Account Managers to create and support the seasonal, market, buying and product strategy.
Collaboratively plan budgets with Market Account Managers and international partners.
Own and develop all range planning, category framework, brand framework, covering all KPIs including sales, stock, margin, options, line buys across all International Markets.
Create and build a comprehensive and commercial range, delivering product grading plans across all categories and markets.
Use lessons learnt, market analysis, and commercial awareness to partner with Buying and Merchandising teams and suppliers to create a commercial and profitable range.
Attend B&M range reviews present international Lessons learnt and strategy as part of the business strategy.
Collaboratively work with Account Managers to understand international market nuances to optimise sales and minimise stock risk.
