Residential Support Worker - Children's Home

Salary - £27,500
About the Role
We're working with a fast-growing provider of children's residential care to recruit Support Workers for one of their Ofsted-registered homes. This organisation specialises in supporting children and young people who have experienced trauma, neglect, or abuse and who may present with challenging behaviours.
As a Support Worker, you'll play a key role in providing structure, emotional support, and a family-style environment for the young people in your care.
Key Responsibilities
* Support children and young people using a positive parenting model
* Help run the daily routine of the home, providing clear structure and boundaries
* Organise and participate in a range of meaningful activities
* Advocate for the young people and promote their wellbeing
* Maintain accurate records and adhere to safeguarding procedures
* Work flexibly across a rota, including sleep-ins and weekend shifts
* Attend staff meetings and contribute to ongoing service development
* Undertake bespoke training to build your skills and understanding

* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Confidence in using technology in a paperless working environment
* Experience in residential childcare is desirable but not essential
