We have an exciting opportunity for a band 5 Physiotherapist within the Community Rehabilitation Service in South Somerset. The post has become available due to exciting internal promotions and service development.

Bases for South Somerset Community Rehab Service are Yeovil and Wincanton.
Main duties of the job
1. Provide a high standard of Physiotherapy within the CRS services.
2. Participate in the development of the CRS Service in the community and within the Community hospital bedded environments.
3. Provide advice regarding the rehabilitation management of patients to families, carers, and other members of the MDT.
4. Provide support, guidance, and training to Senior Rehabilitation assistants, Rehabilitation Assistants, and students.
5. Responsible for a varied caseload of patients, optimising their physical and emotional wellbeing through a preventative and empowering approach.

Job description
This role is based primarily in the community, including working in Magnolia House, Yeovil, providing goal-focused rehabilitation to a variety of individuals over the age of 18 within the South Somerset Neighbourhood. We treat a number of conditions from Neurological, Orthopaedic, Frailty, and Falls. No two days are the same due to the varied caseloads.

* Degree, Diploma, Masters in Physiotherapy
* Evidence of CPD maintained in a portfolio

* Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy

* Experience in an NHS community hospital or community setting at undergraduate or postgraduate level.
