Responsibilities
1. Account Management
1. Build relationships with internal stakeholders and liaise between the commercial and tech/adops departments to create a holistic working team. Specifically, liaising with our sales managers, traders, tech team and our creative team.
2. Manage your day-to-day on accounts (Client Direct, or Agency). Understand your clients inside out and be able to talk about factors affecting their business, potential impacts and how we can create value for their business.
3. Maintain regular dialogue and check-ins with clients, including pre-campaign kick-offs, mid-campaign check-ins, and post-campaign debriefs identifying ways to grow client spending through upweights of current activity and/or repeat bookings.
4. Ensure all projects undertaken are transitioned into and managed effectively by the team. Delivered on time, on brief and on budget.
5. Make sure that all necessary administrative paperwork is completed, e.g. weekly status reports, briefing docs etc.
6. Escalate potential issues immediately to ensure swift resolution.
2. Financial
1. Protect, grow and generate new income streams.
2. Ensure all procedures are adhered to, such as purchase orders acquired.
3. Regular forecasting is required and ensures timely management of changes against forecast to be highlighted to your direct report/the business.
3. Programmatic Media Planning
1. Interrogate client briefs and utilise planning tools to deliver plans that will attain client KPIs.
2. Develop comprehensive programmatic media plans aligned with client goals and marketing objectives by utilising data-driven insights to identify target audiences.
3. Foster strong relationships with all relevant stakeholders on your accounts, leading meetings where required and supporting the wider client services team.
4. Assist the team in developing new products and services – this could range from identifying a new planning tool to recommending a new form of media that we want to add to our offering.
5. Enhancing performance reports and PCAs with expert knowledge and recommendations.
6. Key focus on distinguishing key insights from data, and driving a story-led response. Whether a brief response, key reports or a PCA.
7. Development of strong presentations that address client objectives.
8. Understand Programmatic campaign success measurement opportunities and the tools that are involved in this.
4. Other
1. Stay abreast of Industry news, and circulate this to the wider team, focusing on what our competitors are doing, what your clients are doing, and general industry news and trends.
2. Assist the Sales team at Sales Events.
