Job Description
-We are looking for temporary reinforcement of the Site Services team for 6 months.
The Site Services team supports the activities at the Element Six Global Innovation Centre (GIC) with facilities management, machine installations, maintenance, and repairs. It is a multi-skilled team covering a wide range of disciplines such as electrical installations, control systems, vacuum technology, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
With this role we are looking to reinforce the team with an experienced Technician who enjoys combining hands-on maintenance and repair work with contractor management, and other activities that support the team leadership.
Duties and tasks
* Domestic water checks/flushing
* Emergency lighting checks
* Fire alarm checks
* Safe & Legal checks
* Office furniture & fixture repairs
* Minor plumbing and possibly minor electrical repairs
* Machine coolant checks
Qualifications
* -Formal qualifications in an engineering-based discipline
* Experienced in safe contractor management
* Good general understanding of health, safety, and quality standards and ability to carry out risk assessments and write operating procedures to a high standard
* Good communication skills within a Team environment when working under pressure.
* Good IT skills with proficiency in standard office software and relevant software for data acquisition, treatment, and processing.
