Responsibilities:
* Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets. Cultivate and manage relationships with farmers and dealers, providing expert guidance on our high-end milking solutions.
* Product Knowledge: Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of our milking equipment, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor to clients. Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our technology.
* Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to inform sales strategies. Identify new business opportunities and areas for growth within the livestock sector.
* Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing product information, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs and resolve issues promptly.
* Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, prepare regular reports on performance and market trends. Contribute to sales forecasts and participate in sales meetings.
Qualifications:
* Proven track record in external sales, ideally within the agricultural or livestock equipment sector.
* Strong understanding of the UK livestock farming industry and its challenges.
* Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team.
* Willingness to travel extensively throughout the UK.
