We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and efficient receptionist who is ready to move into a role with additional facility management responsibilities. You will relish a challenge and be highly organised, managing contractors and providing admin support to the off-site Building Manager.
The role is based at a business park in Eastleigh. You will take pride in delivering an exemplary tenant and visitor experience to all. You should be well presented with proven experience and confident to take ownership of this busy and varied role.
NOTE - This is a temporary contract, for up to three months.
Hours and salary
£18,720
8.00am – 2.00pm Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
Reception
* Manage and take ownership of the reception area to ensure the ambience reflects the clients’ and tenants’ expectations
* Meeting, greeting and registering all visitors to the building, providing exceptional customer service to all
* Efficiently managing deliveries, including couriers and post
* General administration, as required
Building management
* You will quickly establish yourself as ‘the face of the business park’ and the go to person for questions/queries
* Work closely with the off-site Building Manager – confidently reporting building issues and helping manage to resolution
* Manage contractors visiting the building to undertake regular maintenance, issuing keys as required and updating the progress/maintenance log
* Maintain regular communication with the Building Manager so they are fully informed on outstanding issues
* Assist with the weekly fire test
* Eyes and ears of the site – daily walk round to ensure the site is pristine and that there are no unreported issues
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Proven experience in a front of house reception role and are ready for a new challenge
* You have facilities management experience (desirable)
* Personable and proactive with a confident manner and able to deliver impeccable customer service
* Self-motivated and thrive in an environment where you are required to multitask
* Excellent problem resolution skills along with outstanding communication and active
listening skills
* Competent Microsoft Office user and willing to learn in house systems and processes
