SEN Child Mentor ***** Are you looking to work within a special educational needs setting? Would you like to become a Child Mentor Could you build strong relationships with primary aged pupils? Teaching Personnel are working closely with a primary SEN school that is based in the Haywards Heath area. The school are now in need of Child Mentors who can work both 1:1 and in small groups with their primary aged boys. The school have a wonderful curriculum but are also extremely vocational – if you enjoy outdoor learning as well as sporting activities then this role is for you! About the school: The school have brilliant facilities for their primary aged pupils. The school are currently looking for a Child Mentor who is sporty and able to build strong relationships with their boys, the school have grounds for forest schooling as well as an outdoor 4G football pitch that their primary pupils use daily. About the role: The chosen Child Mentor will be expected to work closely with the pupils. You will be supporting the pupils throughout the day, in class, in-between class and on school outings. If you’re out-going, confident and have a background in special educational needs then this role is for you!
