SEN Teaching Assistant Central Bristol Full-Time September Start Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are looking for a Teaching Assistant who has experience working with children with SEND needs, i.e ASD, ADHD, SEMH. You will be joining a 2 form entry Primary School in the BS5 area of Bristol to work closely with KS2 pupils. The Role As a successful candidate, you will join the team from September on a Full-Time basis. We are looking for a flexible and confident team player who can work closely with children with a range of needs in the classroom. The job involves primarily supporting SEND children on a 1:1 basis, and sometimes in small groups or whole class settings. The Head Teacher is looking for a candidate who has experience working with children with SEMH or ASD needs ideally. Someone who is patient and nurturing who can care for this individual throughout the school day. You will be expected to: Has high expectations of the pupil you will be working with. Previous experience working with SEND children. Able to communicate and work with the Class Teacher closely. Meet the needs of the child through innovative teaching methods. Liaise with the SENCo for additional activities. Show initiative and flexibility.
