A school in Birmingham are seeking a talented and dedicated School HR Administrator to join their friendly and supportive HR team Working hours 8am-4pm Monday - Friday It is essential that you have experience of working as an HR Administrator in a school environment. In this role you will be part of the high performing, friendly HR team and provide a confidential, high quality and efficient administrative service to job candidates, staff and managers. You will also have the opportunity to develop your HR skills and knowledge. Key Responsibilities: Safer Recruitment: Ensuring compliance with Keeping Children Safe in Education guidelines and safeguarding processes. Pre-Employment Checks: Coordinating and managing reference checks, DBS checks, and qualification verification for new hires. HR Administration: Providing comprehensive HR administrative support, including processing paperwork, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with onboarding. Absence Management: Monitoring staff absence, supporting line managers, and implementing appropriate measures to minimise absenteeism. General Administration: Carrying out general administrative duties as required, such as answering phones, filing, and data entry. Essential Requirements : Proven experience as an HR Administrator in a school setting. Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures. Excellent organisational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
