About the Role: As a Vehicle Recovery Driver at Steer, you’ll be responsible for collecting vehicles from customers, transporting them safely to our repair sites, and returning them once serviced. Your work will ensure a positive experience for our customers, upholding our commitment to outstanding service. Main Responsibilities: Collect vehicles from customers and transport them to our repair centers in Ayr, Edinburgh, or Glasgow. Return repaired vehicles to customers, ensuring they are delivered on time and in excellent condition. Provide outstanding customer service, handling vehicles with care and professionalism. Comply with all legal and road safety requirements, including the Road Traffic Act. Assist with coverage at other sites as needed. Follow Health & Safety protocols, including proper PPE usage and maintaining clean work areas. About You: We’re looking for candidates with experience in commercial driving, ideally with a background in vehicle recovery. You’ll also: Manage and plan your workload effectively. Remain calm and work skillfully under pressure. Excel in customer service and teamwork. Be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work. Hold a valid, ideally clean, driving license and be over 21 (for insurance purposes).
