Senior Commercial Finance Analyst Location : Nottingham (Hybrid Working) Salary : £50,000 - £55,000 per annum An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified finance professional to join a dynamic and growing commercial finance team. This newly created role offers the chance to lead and develop a small FP&A function, working closely with senior finance business partners and decision-makers. Based in Nottingham city centre, the position operates on a hybrid basis with two to three days a week in the office. About the Role This role is pivotal in providing critical financial insights and reporting that will drive the organisations performance and profitability. Youll lead a team of two analysts, managing the FP&A function to deliver high-quality data for strategic decision-making. Additionally, youll oversee the management of financial data and liaise with key external teams to ensure accuracy and alignment with business needs. Key Responsibilities : Leading and mentoring two finance analysts, ensuring resources are prioritised effectively. Taking ownership of financial data and reporting strategies to meet business objectives. Developing and enhancing analytical tools to address commercial challenges. Collaborating with senior stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and recommendations. Driving innovation and adopting new technologies to enhance reporting capabilities. About You The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with a strong background in FP&A or commercial finance analysis. We are looking for someone who thrives on combining technical expertise with leadership and stakeholder engagement. Key Skills and Experience : Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA). Proven experience in commercial finance or FP&A roles. Advanced Excel skills, with expertise in handling complex data sets. Strong presentation skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights. Experience in people management and developing team capabilities.
