Principle responsibilities
1. Printing out incoming invoices, logging on accounts payable/Sage and issuing for sign off, update on Sage/Accounts once payment made.
2. Processing sales invoices, loading onto Sage
3. Credit control, including management of accounts receivable ledger, chasing outstanding debtors and answering supplier queries
4. Supporting the preparation of the monthly management reports. Print end of month report and distribute to board.
5. Assist Contract Managers in updated the CVR form for client projects
6. Invoices and statements hard copy filing
7. Monthly supplier statement reconciliations
8. Daily bank reconciliation with Sage
9. Supporting the weekly payment run process
10. Expenses; check receipts and calculate VAT and totals
11. Cover for Accounts Assistant
12. Assistance with updating internal processes to drive efficiencies in the finance department
13. Point of contact to answer queries from external auditors during annual audit
Required experience
14. Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
15. Competence/experience with accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks essential
