Description Wood is recruiting for Pipefitters to join their Integrity Repair Solutions, Fabrication Facility based in Tullos, Aberdeen. These positions are full time, staff roles, Monday – Friday with a 1pm finish on a Friday Join a culture of innovation, pushing the boundaries of what is possible to seek the best solutions for our clients. The Role The ideal candidate would be a time served Pipefitter who has successfully completed either their apprenticeship and/or vocational qualification. You will join a team of Welders, Fabricators & Pipefitters on site ensuring all tasks are carried out to the highest safety standards while adhering to project requirements & specifications. As a Pipefitter within the team, you will have good technical knowledge with the ability to complete all work scopes in line with the applicable work packs with support from your supervisor. You will attend daily toolbox talks, where the team are encouraged to share their knowledge and best practices. Responsibilities Typical responsibilities To complete all work scopes communicated by the line supervisor in accordance with work pack / job card instructions Responsible for ensuring the safe execution of all activities Report any defect / inspection reports to Line Supervisors in a clear and concise manner Report any changes in scope of work to Line Supervisor so a safe re-assessment of the work scope can be completed Support overall delivery of company goals and schedule. Support team performance and development by sharing knowledge and best practices. Participate and carry out tool box talks as required.
