WHAT YOU’LL DO: As an Audio Visual Technician at EOS, you will be responsible for installing and managing a variety of AV technologies at client sites. Your duties include comprehensive cable management, hardware installation, and ensuring compliance with all contract requirements. You will diagnose and resolve technical issues and must be prepared to travel extensively for project support. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: Install, configure, and maintain a variety of AV systems, including but not limited to Crestron, Extron, QSYS, and Cisco. Conduct comprehensive cable management and hardware installation, ensuring compliance with all project requirements. Diagnose and resolve complex AV technical issues efficiently and effectively. Perform advanced troubleshooting and provide technical support to clients and junior technicians. Assist in planning and executing AV installations, including layout and setup of first fix hardware. Ensure AV racks are built to AVIXA standards, maintaining proper airflow and layout. Terminate and test AV cabling and connectors. Document installation procedures and technical issues accurately. Train and mentor junior AV technicians, sharing knowledge and best practices. Travel extensively to various client sites for installation and support. Maintain high standards of professionalism, customer interaction, and technical expertise. DESIRED CRITERIA: 2-4 years of experience in AV installation and support (Crestron, Extron, QSYS, Cisco) Strong understanding of signal flow and AV system integration Expertise in building and configuring AV racks to AVIXA standards Proficiency in terminating and testing AV cabling and connectors Skilled in using power tools and basic carpentry tasks Willingness to travel globally as required Valid driver’s license and passport PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: CTS certification. AVIXA Essentials to AV Technology certification. Construction Health & Safety Card or equivalent. Working at height certification. Completion of a cable and termination course.
